Business Development Manager

Job type: Full-Time

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for lead-generation and building of sales funnel. Build and maintain relationships within respective territory. Cultivate leads through consultative sales pitching.

  • Pitch, design and deliver projects both locally and overseas. This includes but is not limited to areas such as Internationalization, market sizing and forecasting, competitor and industry analysis, and pricing strategy among others.

  • Provide business consulting such as wholesale trade opportunities and logistics value-add identification services for clients interested in developing their business in South East Asia (e.g. Vietnam, Indonesia and Singapore) and China.

  • Participate in business development with business associations, networks, institutions, chamber of commerce etc. overseas.

  • Develop and implement strategies to execute business plan to achieve desired results (i.e. to increase client base, retention for key positions, improve overall business flow, Portfolio Management assets, etc.)

  • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential clients & exploring opportunities

  • Negotiate project terms and conditions with clients as needed.

  • Identify project risks and challenges and develop resolution plans.

  • Schedule regular client meetings, process client invoices and review engagement letters.

  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities networking group.

  • Deliver seminars/ talks/ workshops both locally and (i.e. China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Europe etc.) for the purpose of lead generations and strategic marketing

Capabilities and experience: 

  • Diploma or Degree in Business/ Finance/ Economics/ Marketing/ Communications/ Engineering equivalent 3-5 years’ experience in relevant field of study

  • Preferably candidates with Business Development background from a Research/ Consulting/ Advertising agency

  • Strong ethics, with a customer-oriented attitude

  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to foster long-term relationships

  • Ability to perform under stress and tight deadlines

  • A natural problem-solver who is self-motivated and has a passion for learning

  • A collaborative team player who is also unafraid to articulate his or her points-of-view

Marketing/UX Intern

Job type: Internship 

Position Summary
In this role, the candidate will be working closely with the marketing manager by providing administrative support and managing several marketing projects. Through the internship, the chosen candidate will develop his/her skills in succinct and appealing content creation.  Besides that, the internship also offers an extensive exposure to translate data into content which lays the foundation for any undergraduate who is keen to venture into data/marketing related industry.

Core responsibilities

  • Optimize and improving the design layout of the company website.

  • Incorporate functionalities and features into website

  • Create and design online/offline marketing collaterals across various online channels (blogs, LinkedIn, email, Facebook, Instagram).

  • Executing planned social media editorial calendar.

  • Work with the marketing manager to manage the different social media platforms.

  • Generate and contribute new ideas for marketing brainstorming session.

Skills and requirements

  • Be able to commit full time for at least 8 – 12 weeks.

  • Qualification/background in web design is preferred.

  • Passionate individual with a flair in UX design, creative content ideation and copywriting with knowledge of social media trends and platforms.

  • Motivated, meticulous and able to work independently and effectively as part of a team.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Proficient in using Adobe creative suite such as Illustrator, Photoshop (compulsory)

  • Knowledge in other Web Designing Software such as Wix, Dreamweaver, Sketch is preferred.

  • Please note that candidates with portfolio submission will be prioritized.

Talent Intern

Job type: Internship 

Position Summary

In this role, the candidate will work closely with the business head by providing administrative support and managing several projects. During the internship, the chosen candidate will be exposed to the workings of a consultancy firm and learn the multitude of HR responsibilities.

Core responsibilities

  • Involve in the recruitment process which includes sourcing, screening, scheduling and selection of ideal talents.

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes – such as preparation of contracts and welcome kits for new hires, gathering mandatory employee documents.

  • Work with the Business Head to develop staff training roadmaps that will support the building of employer branding.

  • Identify suitable development courses and trainings for internal staffs’ career roadmap development.

  • Collaborate with various departments to create the company’s Employee Handbook.

  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects if required.
